Myler Western Dee Comfort Snaffle with Narrow Barrel MB 01 Bit

The MB 01 is the Myler alternative to the traditional single-jointed mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits. The MB 01 rotates onto the tongue to apply concentrated tongue pressure at the center barrel, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional single-jointed mouthpiece. However, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and allows for each side of the bit to be used independently. Sweet iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation.

  The Western Dee without Hooks is a stainless steel ring with fixed attachment of the mouthpiece. This traditional cheek style keeps the mouthpiece from draping on the tongue, providing a more direct signal than the loose ring.
